Party of Five | An In-Home Family Session in ...

I had the wonderful opportunity to document an in-home session for this beautiful family in Dallas as they celebrated the arrival of their first son.

Stepping into their home, I was immediately greeted by a warm and loving atmosphere. Our time together unfolded naturally, capturing those genuine, unscripted moments that make in-home sessions so special. From showering their new baby brother with kisses and adoring looks to playfully jumping on beds and tickle attacks. One of their favorite daily routines is storytime with Dad, and I had the privilege of capturing that too.

Downtown Grapevine & Rockledge Park Family ...

It’s always an honor to watch a family grow over the years through my lens. I photographed this trio when their baby girl was just a couple of months old, and just like the last time, we had a blast together. We shot at two of my favorite Grapevine locations: Main Street and Rockledge Park. The Palace Arts Center made for a fun and colorful backdrop to begin our session, and just before sunset we moved to the rocky coastline of Rockledge to wander the cliffs and make some memories.

A Dallas Couple's Vacation Session in Turks ...

This vacation session in Turks and Caicos was magical! We spent an evening on the beach and swam around as the sun set over the clear blue water. The next morning we woke up early for a sunrise hike and found ourselves in a taxi in the pouring rain. Luckily, the weather let up just as we arrived at our destination, and we had a beautiful hike under cloudy skies with a refreshing drizzle of rain.

I love the portraits I was able to create for these two, vacation sessions are such a beautiful way to have your favorite memories preserved.

Cozy In-Home Family Session | Dallas Family ...

These laid-back, in-home family sessions are some of the most fun to photograph. It’s such a privilege to be invited into a client’s home to document the unique nuances of their family and those special moments that make up a childhood. This session was one for the books. From secret handshakes and daddy-daughter dances to imaginary under-the-sea excursions, these four allowed me to capture them as they truly are, forever freezing moments that their children will thumb through and cherish for a lifetime.

Grapevine Family Session at Rockledge Park

I knew from the moment I received their inquiry that I was going to have a great time photographing this family. They were looking for “a photographer that captures the in-between, genuine, non posed moments” and said “We see this in your work. We see your ability to capture life that jumps from the frame.” Their vision was perfectly aligned with what I strive to create: photographs that document the overwhelming love of family and fleeting smallness of a child.

Our session was at Rockledge Park on a particularly warm Fall evening. The cool, refreshing waves made for the perfect spot to splash around and document their love.

Hi there,

DFW Photographer

I’m Morgan!

Portrait photographer, dog mom, and hopeless romantic. If I could be anywhere right now it would be standing by the ocean in the pouring rain. My mission is to create art that will serve as a constant reminder of the people you love and the reasons you love them, and to make sure that art lives on in tangible form, not just on a forgotten about USB in the junk drawer.

Just over here in Texas not so patiently waiting for sweater weather.😒 I felt like these black and white moments deserved their own spot on the feed, but I’ll share some more in color soon too! So many sweet moments from just a 15 minute session.

Where do you fall with black and white images? Fall is officially here (someone tell Texas🥵) and so are Fall Family Mini sessions! This is the first time I’ve ever offered these to new clients here and I’m so excited for what we’re going to create together!

One day only! Bet you can’t.

You blink and their toys are different, their interests have changed, they’re growing up. In-home sessions capture the here and now of the rooms that set the stage for their childhood. I just adore the sto While I have thousands of photos on my cell phone, I struggled to routinely take out my actual camera to capture Mille in the first few months after she was born. In the throws of new parenthood I spent most of my time trying to be fully present with We’d originally planned for this session to be lakeside, but Haley decided she wanted to mix it up, and I’m so glad we did! She was exactly right, the urban backdrop of Fort Worth was perfect for capturing the fun personalities of her kid Spent some time today planning a family trip for next month and I’m so excited for our little lady to see the ocean for the first time, so this image felt appropriate for today.

I think all of my clients can attest to this, I’ll never sa Getting ready to watch your first born become a big sister.🥺

My maternity and newborn sessions have been hitting a little different recently. So excited to share that we’re welcoming a sweet baby girl this February. 🤎🤍 #20weeks That weekend feeling. 💃 Newborn snuggles.🥰 We went a little over three months here in Grapevine with temps over 100 degrees and not a drop of rain, so when I arrived at our location on the evening of this session to hear thunder rumbling nearby I was both elated and a little apprehensive. Can’t wait to meet their little one at their next session.☺️ I’ve been photographing this family since they were expecting their first babe, and it’s truly the greatest privilege. Watching families grow is the best part of this job.
