There’s something about Rockledge Park at sunset — the stillness of the lake, the way the light turns everything gold, the calm before life changes forever. It’s one of my favorite places for maternity sessions in Grapevine because it holds that same gentle magic as these final days of waiting.
These two were a dream to photograph. We started along the shoreline before wading into the water as the sun dipped lower, one of my favorite parts of sessions at Rockledge. There’s something so grounding about the water, especially in this season of waiting and becoming. The world quiet for a moment, just the two of them, the ripples, and the anticipation of what’s to come.
