Courtney & Steve Connection Session | | Dallas-Fort Worth Destination Photographer

This was one of those last minute sessions that just came together flawlessly. We scheduled this session the day before we shot, and on the day of I drove (well, Sam drove) out to Valley Forge National Historic Park to do a bit of location scouting. The minute we turned left through the entrance it took my breath away, it was absolute perfection. We explored until we came upon this field, where I was so ecstatic I may or may not have had one of those spinning around, arms out Sound of Music kind of moments. Every time I prepare for a session I do so with the expectation that it will be my best one yet, and this location certainly didn't disappoint. Courtney and Steve arrived just before sunset and we spent the rest of the evening celebrating their marriage and creating some magic as the sun dipped below the horizon.

I had been wanting to experiment with this type of shooting for quite some time and this shoot was the perfect time for a test run. The photographs feel mysterious and romantic to me, I'll definitely be doing more of this style in the future. Let me know what you think down below!
