The Last Days

Noah, Adriana and Taryn. The ones who fueled my creativity when I picked up my camera. The ones who constantly remind me that moments are fleeting, that the little details I adore today may be nowhere to be found by tomorrow. It was in large part because of them that I had the determination to be better, to be constantly improving, learning how to best document these moments. It was in trying so desperately to capture the personalities of our nieces and nephew that I started to evolved as a photographer, I started to see my own personality within the frames, setting me apart. Creativity flowed through me, changing not only my photographs, but myself entirely.

This past July Sam and I set out to start our next chapter in Alaska, and that meant saying goodbye to these three. They stayed with us the weekend before we left and we had a few adventures of our own. From living room camping to sunflower fields, here are a few fragments of our last days.
